3D for ATI GPU

Thread Starter
I'm looking to purchase a new 3D Monitor for my rig, and wanted to know if the Graphics card I'm looking purchasing at will support 3D. In the description of the monitor, it states it requires dual DVI support and a nVidia GPU that supports 3D. Can I use HDMI instead of dual DVI and the ATI graphics card instead?

NVIDIA 3D is only compatible with NVIDIA cards. You would need something like Tri-Def software and Tri-Def compatible monitors (there's one from Viewsonic).

I Have a HD6950, I can watch 3D movies with a single DVI port and with HDMI .

But I don't know how your monitor responds on it.

You need DDD TriDef 3D. If your card is XFX then you get 50% off. Dont waste time looking for pirate copy. You wont find it.
