What can I do with my old monitor

Ive got this 17" lying around, and I was thinking if there is any use for it ? Dual monitors look pretty awful to me and the touch screen kit is too expensive, I was thinking if I can make it show like cpu core temp and gpu in full screen if thats possible, any ideas ?

I use one of my monitors to do that.Just open pc wizard or something like that,i have it open while gaming or bench marking and watch my temps, along with task manager watching cpu/ram load.Another part with cpu-z etc.

Why do you think dual screens look awful?

Let me tell you. At first, you won't like it too much. But after a couple of days, you don't want to go back. You can watch youtube on the smaller one while browsin OCN on the larger one. You can view a source webpage while doing your paper. You can see the song currently playing in your playlist while doing something else. You can monitor temps & fans while gaming. You can do EVERYTHING while doing EVERYTHING.

Just try it out for a couple of days. Won't hurt to do that. Afterwards you won't want to go back, unless you're a perfectionist that wants his displays identical.

PS: Remember to use extended mode. Not cloned/mirrored/anything
