Alright, thanks. I can't seem to get my system stable much higher than 3.6 though. My motherboard doesn't seem to like high FSB.

If you can hit 4GHz on your CPU, I would say whatever "bottleneck" you will get will not be worth worrying about, and you can run even a GTX 580. Just be sure to use Vsync/Highest antialiasing and anisotropic filtering settings, as the more load you put on the GPU, the less relevant your CPUs performance gets.

EDIT: Since you said you can't hit above 3.6GHz I would say you still shouldn't worry about holding any current GPUs back.

A GTX 480 would be great for you. They are really cheap now and give GTX 570 level of performance and overclock great. Or if you prefer less heat/power consumption then a GTX 560 or a HD 6950 (which is roughly 8% faster for a few $ more) would also be great. =)

I would get the fastest card you can, Not for todays games but tomorrows Like bf3. i love my 580, 900core chilling @ 38 degs (water) never had stock cooler on it. i get 90-120 fps in bc2, with aa32 at 16 and transparency aa 8 on (drivers) . great game well all know it can be better but that's what bf3 is
