best sandy bridge motherboard - Page 2

The best one is the one that has all the features that you need. For example I want 2 video cards in SLI and 2 x1 slots so I'll be getting the Asus Sabertooth P67. If you don't care about the x1 slots but you need more video card slots, go with the Asus IV Maximus Extreme.

WR for cpu clock lol plz... actually a $150 biostar tp67xe holds more records/trophies than the UD7

speaking of product loyalty... does gigabyte pay you to push their products online lol?

no koven they do not, and no the biostar actually doesn't./ Does asus pay other people to push asus products, get a life, i like gb so i recommend them, plus i use them so i know how to use them. When people ask for help i even give it to them.

lol GB pay me to say UD7 or M4E lol, yea right get a clue.

"get a life, get a clue", real mature man, kind of ironic too cus judging by the links in your sig, you're the one that needs a life lol... but regardless, you're the biggest gigabyte fanboy on the forum, can you deny that?

the OP makes a vague thread with no specifics and you just blindly recommend the 2 most expensive P67's, instead of asking questions pertaining to his needs, not sure what to call that... fanboyism or ignorance? maybe a mix of both

hmmm, yea i am ignorant, why don't you click on of those links and read some of my ignorance.

I am actually not the biggest id say, i do always recommend asus as well, so idk what you want from me. Am i not allowed to have an opinion? here is the thing, i recommend boards that I have used and dealt with, that is the only wise thing to do. Without owning/having used a board i find it hard to recommend it. I gotta admit yes i review GB products because they send them to me for review, but I also work for a very large hardware review site, and post anonymously, so i do have other P67 boards as well.

You should see some of the asus fan boys, its really hilarious, but to be even more honest with you fanboys are the reason companies cater to OCers and gamers, and that is straight from the companies mouthes. You would be surprised when gigabyte says its good asus has fanboys.

I am an intel fanboy before I am an AMD fanboy, GB offered to set me up with a AMD bulldozer system and i denied.

i recommend those two boards because they are the best, might not be the best bang buck but they are the best, why? because extreme ocers use the best, because they perform under the harshest conditions, LN2/usually DICE with P67 tho,. Of course on air, the biostar board you have should be just fine too. I don't think he is worried about money or else he wouldn't have asked for the best, he would've asked for bang for your buck.

No they didn't. If they did, that means you're sponsored by Gigabyte. If that were true, then your reviews are in the wrong place, and you would be paying royalties to OCN for being sponsored. Not only that....I'm sure some of us would have at least HEARD of you before.

Fact is....
The boards for P67 really make little difference. As long as its a half decent board, you'll get a great overclock out of your chip. So just pick ANY MOTHERBOARD that fits what features YOU need.

EDIT:
And you will NEVER be able to convince me that ANYTHING made by Gigacrap is "the best".

They offered a amd mobo, how wrong is that?

Are you joking? what you think reviewers buy their boards?

To be very honest I bought my first GB mobo X58A-UD5 rev 2.0 i did a review because i found that all the reviews on the net were all BS, and well i posted it on XS and here, it got a lot of people excited because they have never seen a review done like that, and gigabyte offered me more boards to review, its something that asus does, and msi, and well all the mobo companies, they offer mobos to select members of forums review for them. It brings in search hits from the search engines. Google P67A-UD7 review, or X58A-UD5 rev 2.0 review, people come to the forums through those links, so actually no i should be getting paid. I feel as if its my way for giving back to the forums from all the help i have gotten through them. I bring in traffic from the net to OCN and XS and any other forums i post on, on the other hand do you?

I am done with this stupid argument. Think what you want. Just because i like a company they they give me boards to review i get a bunch of people saying i can't express my opinion, well i like GB boards and i use them, i don't work for GB, and i have my own opinions.

lol @ your gigacrap comment, see asus fan boy, if asus sent me boards you wouldn't say any of that.

Fact is I have helped a lot of people here at OCN, i don't have rep for no reason and neither do you, i know my stuff.
