IPS for sure. MVA isn't as good as PVA. MVA is older. PVA is based off of MVA. IPS however is dominant. Some IPS monitors don't ghost.

Particularly the Asus ML249H, the 24" MVA which uses the same panel as the Benq EW2420. It sounds perfect for my purposes- I like the high contrast ratio and great black depth, as well as the price. I'll mainly be using it for movies, web browsing, and photos, not games, so I don't need to have a super-high response time. However, it doesn't have very many reviews, and the reviews for the Benq that uses the same panel seem to be mixed, so I was curious to hear some other input.

Also curious about the ML239h and how it compares to the Dell U2311H which uses the same panel.

Thanks!

Guys, I want to change my recently bought SAMSUNG bx2235 with that ASUS that you talk about. Is it worth to make the switch, the ASUS is good for agresive gaming ? that Samsung dissappointed me at colours (is like colours are not real, seem "artificial" ) and brightness ( is a little to bright).
Between DELL U2311H and ASUS ML239H which is better in terms of gaming (response time, lag input .. )
