Please recommend me a few cards.
Thanks.
The best card for u is,
hd6950 2gb,u can unlock it to a hd6950,
hd6950 scales very nicely in crossfire.
Hope u like the card I mentioned.
If u dont want to unlock a hd6950...then get a hd6970,its a great card

Thread Starter
I have always used NVIDIA i think I want to try an HD6950.

Can all 6950's be unlocked?

What are the risks in unlocking?

Is there any documentation on how to do it?

Thanks..

Yes, there is. Plenty of tut's how you can flash your HD6950. Not al cards can be unlocked, you need luck for that. But the most of the cards sucdeeds, not all of them. Yes it's risky, you can kill your card with it, or have artifacts ect. But you can flash back your card to the stock bios. You have a bios switch, the second is for recovery.
