No it doesnt have to say designed for p67. And if they are both the same price go with the faster stuff, its just not worth it to pay a premium when you wont notice the difference.
My ram is Microcenter brand runs fine and was cheap.

What is the best out of these? I see that the slightly more expensive you get the timing is lower and so is the voltage.

The most important thing to remember is go for low voltage modules p67 doesn't support over 1.65.

after that its just a question of finding the best priced ones with good timings I managed to pick up my 7-8-7-24 ripjaws on sale for less than the 9-9-9-24 ones

Intel's electrical specs for Sandy Bridge recommend a maximum RAM voltage of 1.575v. I'd just get a solid 2x4GB 1600MHz CL9 1.5v RAM at a decent price. You won't notice any practical difference; only when running synthetic benchmarks.

If I can get 4x4GB for 200 bucks should I buy that over just 2x4GB for 100? More RAM is always better right?

If you dont have enough ram adding more is good, if you have enough any extra over what you need is effectively wasted so Unless you do allot of encoding video edditing or something like that I would say 8gb will be more than enough hell 4gb probably all you need.

16 is excessive and pretty much the only reason to do it is for showing off

I see a lot recommending 1600 speeds. I was only able to purchase a 4gb kit, ripjaws x 1333 7-7-7-21 for my upcoming sb build since it seemed to be the only one available at the shop I get my stuff. Still a good choice?
