W3520 or i7 960 overclocking wise

I would definately go for the i7-960.... It can reach higher clocks with minimal increase in voltage. You can easily push it to beyond 4.0 Ghz.

While the Xeon on the otherhand won't get as good of results with overclocking, at the most 3.8 Ghz.. Its a Xeon, so you might have some issues with compatible motherboards, certified memory and overall performance.

you are so wrong on this.the W3520 works in pretty much all 1366 MB's and OC's awesomely.

its basically a 920 just didnt know if i would be able to overclock it more since its a workstation cpu
