edit: that psu seems very good without overclocking, but it wouldn't be a good idea to oc' on it imo. 430w isn't enough since hd4850 requires at least 450w

People tend to highly overrate the amount of wattage you need to run a system. A friend of mine runs an i5 760 and a HD5770 (overclocked) on an OCZ StealthXStream 400W with a fan controller and a bunch of other stuff.

Very nice build OP. Can't go wrong for $340. biggrin.gif

I'm not overclocking right now since I'm totally fine with the performance, but I think I have some room for the future, especially since the cpu I have is only 95w.

Yeah, it absolutely was. Just know what you're doing and you'll be fine. Like I said earlier, the only part I was freaked out over was when I felt like I was breaking something because the CPU cooler was so tight o.O
I also got interrupted in the middle of the build because a townhouse one away from mine caught on fire :O
Interesting first build experience.
I'm pretty obsessed also, building is probably the most rewarding part. I'm glad I got to start so early

Oh wow that's crazy lol, good story to tell about your first build. The only problem I had with my build was my cases power switch melted down on me somehow haha. I agree, it's good to start early! Now I know what I want to study in College
