$100 for new mobo, suggestions?

I have some cash to spend, and I'm looking to upgrade my motherboard. I actually have $120, but that $20 is going towards new RAM.

I'm currently eying this board: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...-647-_-Product

If I get the open box of it, I save an additional $20 that can go towards more RAM or a Hyper 212+.

What do you guys think? Thanks!

That board you linked has no VRM cooling. Just fyi

What features do you need from it?
xfire
usbIII
sata 6GB/s

M4A79XTD EVO
M4A89GTD PRO
TA890FXE
890FXA-GD65

Are good ones.

Some cheaper, most more than 120 though.

Only $20 for new RAM? What's your plan, single DIMM or something? (Which would be unwise)
Double that and get a proper dual channel kit. Worth it investment.

No VRM cooling doesn't matter as much on M4A87TD EVO as the 8+2 phase runs cooler. However, Gigabyte GA-870A-UD3 is $5 less.

I don't really need any fancy features, just a board that works and overclocks some. The M4A79XTD EVO looks interesting, and it's $109 after MIR... Thanks!

Yeah. Single DIMM, add another DIMM later. That UD3, it seems perfect, especially at open box price... Then I can get two DIMMs at the same time. So many choices... Thanks!

Dual channel, do not buy two singles
Single channel DIMMs are usually more expensive than buying a dual channel set. I would definitely recommend going dual channel from the start if at all costs as the performance of dual channel can be very important.

Wait, so two single DIMMs ≠ dual channel? sigh...

I'll definitely get a kit then.
