Games which run better of AMD gpu - Page 2

OP, my sig rig plays Dirt 2 on Medium preset, 4x MSAA 1920*1080 @ 60 fps at all times, no matter what's happening.
It's fine :)

I think resident evil, devil may cry series are optimised for amd gpu,
isnt it?
Correct me if I'm wrong

Aliens vs Predators favor the HD5k and HD6k cards.

Mm, I don't beieve there are such titles.. Some are optimized for AMD platforms, but the difference is not substantional, +you cant really compare them fair, because there are no ATi and Nv GPUs of exactly equal general performance.

This is quite true.

Games that are supposedly optimized for AMD that I know of are...
Civilization V
Medal of Honor
Final Fantasy XIV
Lord of the Rings Online (LOTRO)
City of Heroes going Rogue
Quake II (had an update or something for AMD's 3D Now tech.)

And thats all I can think of right now.

If so then I think I can max out everything with hd5770(crysis/crysis warhead/crysis2,metro2033) with 2x/4x AA,AF on my resolution (1360x768)

Crysis will give you 30-40 FPS avg on that res, no matter AA/AF.
At that point the FPS is CPU dependant. You need to raise above 1080p in order to feel the GPU's limits.

So basically one 6850 > one 5770 right?
The HD6850 is up to 50% faster in games than the 5770, especially if you have AA turned on.

HD5770 128 bit / 800 Unified Shaders / Memory Bandwith 76 GB/s

HD6850 256 bit / 960 Unified Shaders / Memory Bandwith 128 GB/s

This is what makes the difference. The lower clocks don´t fall into count that much.

Also better DX11 Tesselation support. Uniengine Heaven Bench 2.1 had a major increase, also Metro2033.

Got this from somewhere else.^

I know you have a spending limit, but in my opinion it would be worth it to just spend $30 more and get an HD6850. It's better then a 5770. But that's just my opinion.

If the difference is really 30$, wait, save and buy 6850 wink.gif

Theres a $30 difference between hd6850 & hd5770 in your country,
but the difference is large in my country.
In my country
hd5770 is rs6900 ($153)
hd6850 is rs11000 ($244)
so I cant afford hd6850.
Prices are much higher in India
