2 days until Crysis 2 release. - Page 3

Look, heres the deal with Crysis.

When Crysis 1 came out, it was revolutionary. It is something you wouldn't complain about seeing in 2011!!! Yet it was years ahead of its time!!!
Crysis 2 isn't. I would be surprised if it surpases Metro 2033 as far as hardware demanding goes.

The point is, people spend crazy amounts of money for the best performance, best graphics, best audio, and best gaming experince. If you can buy a console and get the same experince for over half the price, why wouldn't you?

Most PC gamers are mad because there losing there edge against console games. There isn't much for PC gamers to pick at now, because the games they play are just as good on consoles now. The real difference is, "Do you want to play with a controler? Or a mouse and keyboard" and when it comes to FPS games, the controler will win everytime.

Crytek released ONE revolutionary game. Doesn't mean the rest of there titles have to follow. Its resonable to expect the level of quality in a game made by a company sout to be "revolutionary", so stop jumping down the throats of people who want to get what they bought there computers for.

ive played crysis 1 over again about 3 or 4 times, along with warhead, the graphics are so realistically intense you dont really care for storyline, you just want to explore in what other game, do the waves look real, the water reflect light properly, and your bullets cause water to jump when they hit? none that ive seen, not to mention the other detailed enviroments, i stood still in awe when i found that aircraft carrier frozen in the ice for the first time, it amazed me at how much work they put into the graphical details.

my friends pre-ordered crysis 2, im gonna do things smart.

play it at thier house for a while, decide if its worth it, if it is, ill bother to buy it, if not EA kisses my ass till BF3
