I have both. No, I wouldn't upgrade just for the sake of size alone. If you want to buy an IPS monitor, then you might as well buy the 23".

Text size is fine on my 21.5 inch.
Unless they're sitting side by side (mine are in seperate rooms) you can't tell the difference in text size. Remember. 23" is only a 7% size increase over 21.5. 7% is meaningless.

if you can read text just fine on your current monitor then stick with it, no need to upgrade. if you're wanting a larger screen then take vinton13's advice above and spend your money on a more significant upgrade of 24"+.
Sure you would. See above. Text at 21.5 inch 1080p is great. And I sit quite a ways from my monitor.
I have a 19" 1680 x 1050 display you guys should see.. That thing is hard to read with.
And as we all know, it's also mathematically impossible to achieve these levels of contrast. Can't believe these manufacturers get away with this crap.
