[GB] EA bans yet another Dragon Age 2 player - Page 10

They have no right to block him from playing a single player game he or his parents paid money for.
I have met many people who really shouldn't go outside and interact with people because they troubled, sick or just behavioral problems.
Even if he called them every name in the book on their forums it shouldn't matter, they have the ability to moderate their forums.
Anyone who thinks this is how businesses should conduct themselves needs to get help.
Companies are there to supply you with goods and services not to punish and control you.

Either way guys something fishy is going on here and the whistle needs to be blown if its going to change.
Ok so two people's account have been banned so far...... This is out of how many again? Yeah I think this is a glitch, and I am willing to bet this second person hasn't took the first step in contacting EA to inform this of this. Rule of thumb here 2 people out of 1000 are affected by a glitch there is a work around found, 500 out of a thousand a patch is made.

I do wish people would understand this is a very one sided story and wouldn't jump on the ban wagon. I am not saying EA is a great publisher, but like everyone else they do deserve the benefit of the doubt until there side is heard.

Just because it could be a glitch doesn't make it right. The question pops into my mind as to why they would even have the two connected in the first place? Obviously it's to ban people from playing games, which they should not be allowed to do if that person payed money for his game.
It's not multi player, he didn't hack or modify software, so I don't get how they can do this at all even under ANY circumstances.
The forum post should have been moderated, his forum account blocked or banned and that's it.

Good for EA! Ban all the punks who ruins a forum. I hate going into a forum where there's derogatory remarks and half the paragraph is curse words.

As for this guy, if something offends you, just report and move on. No need to light another flame.

All this talk of pirating makes me sick. If you disagree with EA's policies (or anything else about the company for that matter), simply DO NOT BUY THEIR PRODUCTS. Your difference of opinion with the company does not give you the right to steal their product.

There are no legitimate reasons for pirating anything, ever. There are only excuses.

So, if EA bans you from a SINGLE PLAYER game, that's just fine and dandy? If I was that guy, I would have pirated all of the single player games that EA locked me out of within minutes of getting that email. And I would have felt 110% justified.
