Can't delete a folder!

Thread Starter
I think i'm posting this in the right place - i apologise if not, more of a hardware junkie tbh - never had much reason to discuss the software side of things until recently - but this does seem like the right place to post as far as i can tell!

Anyway - my question!
I have this folder on my slave drive which was left over from a previous install. It's labeled 'Applications' and was used to install programs i felt unworthy of my SSD. I have since re-installed but i cannot delete this old folder for the life of me! Unlocker doesn't work on Win7 64 and all similar programs haven't done the job.

Apparently i don't have the right 'permissions' to delete the folder, or any 'Adobe Reader X' sub-folders within it. Seems slightly odd that i need 'permission' to gain access to my own information seeing as i'm running as an Administrator.

The files that are giving me the problem are called Indentity-H and Identity-V and lie within the 'Adobe Reader X' folder.

Now it's not essential that i delete the folder, it's not affecting performance or anything like that. It's just irritating seeing this folder that won't dissapear every time i access my slave drive.

For what it's worth i'm running a fully legal, retail version of Win7 64-bit Home Premium.

Any advice on what program i could use to wipe the folder or how to gain the right permissions would be greatly appreciated.

TIA

Try right clicking the folder > properties > unchecking read only?

Second if that doesnt work, I know malwarebytes has a file delter that can bypass restrictions because it is used to delete viriuses.

Have you tried kill box? http://www.softpedia.com/progScreens...hot-27315.html

It usually works especially if you open the folder and delete any files within it first.
