Did you really suggest a HannsG 28" over a Dell 27" IPS? My eyes are starting to bleed just thinking of the horrible quality. 1080p gaming is just so...bad.

I'm having the exact same debate myself at the moment. I'd love the high res of the u2711 but eyefinity looks so damm cool... and the ability to go portrait mode eyefinity with the u2311's looks awesome for gaming (and would be my only choice for now given desk space)

If only there was a monitor that would go well in portrait mode next to the u2711 like the 2007/3007's I'd go for the u2711 in a heartbeat. Good luck on your decision! I've still got about a month to decide which way I'm gunna go

Yeah, its a tough decision. I am also looking at buying it in around a month. Currently I'm kinda leaning towards U2711. My main concern with eyefinity (3xU2311) is that a single U2311 will look small compared to my 2443BW, so it wont feel as much of an upgrade, after the initial coolness factor wears off.

Not to mention one 27 monitor will mean a smaller performance hit then eyefinity.

A word of warning... if you do get a U2711, it will ruin you for 1080p TN panels.

There's no going back. If you have to do work away from your home pc, and get stuck with a run-of-the-mill lcd... god help you.

I have a single 19inch Fujitsu Siemens LCD at work. Should I start praying?

What if...what if I make a blood sacrifice, like a small animal or something?

Or a basket of fruit? God must love fruit, everybody does, right?
