NewEgg $40 restocking fee on RMA?

I'm trying to return my ****ty 6950 and they're trying to charge me a $40 restocking fee... I can't go on the online chat either.


EDIT:

Even better! They're trying to make me pay $13 for a shipping label. I do not comprehend what's going on.
And apparently chat is Mon-Fri, from 5:30am to 5:30pm PT.. I guess I'll be doing that tomorrow.

If the card is faulty, they shouldn't charge you a restocking fee. Get online and chat with one of their reps when they are available.

That's newegg's awesome service...






You'll have to call them and complain/ask for them to remove that fee. Buy from Amazon and you don't ever have to put up with this crap again.

I would wait until you talk to someone online. I sent them back a busted up case that was total junk and they gave me a 100% refund and covered the shipping back to them.
What's wrong with your 6950?

I always chat with them. Believe it or not I cannot find the Live Chat under "Contact Us" anymore. Check it out.

What's wrong with your 6950?
The 6950 has artifacts, black squares and 3D images spas out in virtually every game. The worst part is that I get the artifacts and black squares even when the card is @ idle.

I've returned my 6850 before ( I have bad luck with VGA's apparently) and got a 100% refund.. I really don't understand why I can't access their chat.

Everything I buy is from NewEgg, they served me well. I was able to send my Motherboard in 2 weeks after my 30-day warranty expired because they "value customers."

You have javascript or any safe browsing programs open? I recently installed NoScript on Firefox and it blocks everything lol...
If the card is within the 30 day period I would def ***** a storm. If not might be worth trying to RMA to the manufacturer.
