corsair 750tx is a good psu,
btw,
I see that your current setup has corsair 850tx,u can use this in your new setup.
For the gpu,u are making a wrong decision,
amd 5series gpu are a generation old + they dont scale as well as amd 6series gpu,
I suggest u to take hd6870(faster than hd5850) $179-184 at newegg,
or,
get hd6950 2gb(faster than hd5870)
u can unlock this card to a hd6970(then it'll be faster than gtx570,gtx480)
hd6950 2gb costs around $244 at newegg.
Hope u like my suggestion

you have some benchmarks to prove this?

I would go with the 1.5v ripjaw x ram. SB motherboards run RAM at 1.5v default. Running them at 1.5v will allow easy overclocking when voltage bumping is needed.

This ram is exactly the same as the tridents and 4 bucks cheaper. http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16820231443

Those mentioning the MSI G45 mobo, I looked at that one as well (had it in my cart for a while actually). I eventually decided on the next up GD53. The G45 doesn't have much literature about it (it is BRAND new) and I was afraid it would have the lower VRM than the GD53, which is a known value. I didn't want to take the risk for $10 extra bucks.

Definitely agree on the x8 x8 though since I got railed on yesterday for even suggesting the other...

It won't be faster than a GTX 570, The 570 owns the HD 6970... So I don't see how.

Plus loads of people have had trouble with flashing the 6950 to the 70, it's not a viable option, and if he's not going to be doing much gaming, it's pretty pointless, I'd go with a low profile fanless card, no noise, no bother, and can handle black ops maxed.

The OP was not spending more than $120 for the mobo but somehow I convinced him to spend extra $20 on msi p67a g45,
I know the gd53 model is better but I dont think he'll spend more money on mobo.
