MBR on a 3 TB drive?

What would happen if you used MBR on a 3tb drive?

I understand you can only use GUID but im curious if mbr would just recognize 2tb or not at all?

It works just fine, you'd just have to make the primary partition less than 2TB. Slice it in two, a primary of 1TB and a secondary of 2TB and you shouldn't have any problem.
