They also have the Epic if you're interested in that....or wait for the newer phones....

If you really think waiting is your best option, then you could always wait for the motorola Droid Bionic for verizon or the Nexus S for sprint. For me verizon has been good to me for years atleast where I live and the bill hasn't been too bad. A great selection of phones and to be honest that's the only thing I think separates VZW from sprint is phone selection. Other than that it just depends where you live and which one gives you the best value in your area.

Sprint coverage is not as great *IN GENERAL*

Wimax is also slower than LTE.

Sprint charges $10 for 4G whether you use it or not. On verizon it is included in the plan.

I have verizon, and their Voice/3G/4G coverage is a lot better in northern california. I am fine paying the premium that i do for it.

Sure Verizon has the 4g included but Sprint does have a better overall plan which is cheaper when it comes to unlimited data. The Sprint $10 charge for 4g whether you have it or not is to keep the unlimited data plans going. Seems unfair but for $10.00 more a month for unlimited is a steal especially when Verizon will end their unlimited data sometime this summer. Just my

Thanks for the input guys, I think I'll just wait or a month or so until the bionic comes out, and also the evo 3d.

It looks like it's gonna be a entirely new generation of phones with the dual core processors. I would've gotten the TB, but the battery life seems horrendous on it.

Also, I'm leaning more towards verizon right now, as the price difference is only a couple of dollars vs sprint.

Actually, the only deciding factor now is...

will the pricing on verizon's 4g network be the same as the 3g, or will they jack up the price for the data plan on the bionic?

If they are, then I think i'll just go ahead and get a droid x right now. I can't wait four to five months for a new phone, since mine is already dying.

Verizon customer service is the pits, they do not give a **** about you. That being said, it is a superior network in almost all cities..

I would go with Verizon, but remember you will have to fight them tooth and nail if you have any kind of issue.

Been fine with me sofar. Got them to replace my phones for free a few times. They give me discounts, and waive fees all the time.

Maybe it is because i have been with them since 1994 o_O

Possibly, because that is most definitely not their corporate norm. I was talking to a guy at work last week who has a number of business phones through them, he was having an issue and asked them to resolve it. He was talking to retentions and they basically said he was free to leave. That was one of many such reports I've been told by people about them.

I had them for a while with no problems, but on my way out they screwed me hard. I paid out and closed my account, no issues. Several years later I get a call from a collector saying VZW is now turning me in to collections for never closing my account, etc. So late fees, surcharges, you name it. I had no option but to pay them a few hundred to get my credit cleared, even though I had closed my account with them properly at the time. I decided to do a little research after that happened, you wouldn't believe how many people they do this too, it almost seems like one of their shady little tricks for making money. I mean, I have no other way of justifying how that many people can be complaining of the exact same thing. If you go with them document everything extremely well, that's all I can say.

Sprint has been the polar opposite over the last 5 years, they bend over backwards for me, it's as simple as that.
