Trouble with Stability...

My Sig is the system I am running. I cannot get Prime95 to run more than a minute or so before hard-locking with these settings? any suggestions? I've been doing some research and I think this should all be doable. Thanks for the help in advance!

BTW, it is not running long enough to overheat.

Id venture to suggest that it may be your VCore. Hard locks usually indicate more Vcore is required.

How safe is it for me to run my Vcore much higher than that?

Im not sure... Im an Intel dude

Id suggest you could nudge it up another notch and see how it stresses. You have room on your NB Vid to go up to 1.32.

Up them both and see how it goes.

First of all, always overclock using the bios instead of AMD Overdrive. I think you may need more vcore, Phenom IIs seem to start requiring lots more voltage when pushing past 4.1-4.2GHz. AMD says max safe vcore is 1.55v, just make sure your temps never get up to 62c. Keep in mind that these chips start losing performance around 55c.

Thanx!

@Dissentience, I am using my bios, I just brought up AOD because it shows lots of data on one screen

Is 1.5v safe for an 'all the time' voltage if my temps at load are lower than 60c?

Ah, gotcha. I should mention one more very important thing: don't believe core temps on a Phenom II. Always go by CPU socket temps, or add 10c to the core temps to get the real CPU temp. So if you're reading core temps then ~45c you lose performance and ~52c is getting dangerously hot
