No video with new Graphics card/mobo issue

my cousin has a Emachines el1333G-0w1

It has a onboard geforce 6150
somewhat decent card, but wanted a little more, so i got him a nVidia Geforce 210 512mb DDR3 pci-e card low profile

Whenever i Insert the card no video comes out, and its like this with any card i put in, I even tried my 8800GTS's and a 680watt power supply.

So its not a power issue or card issue, i also updated to the newest bios. before the bios when i had a vga card in there the onboard would still work but the vga card wouldnt, now after the bios update, it finally shuts off the onboard but still will NOT display a screen, if i take the card out the computer displays a screen. What gives??? i have looked all over google and cant figure the problem out

Have you gone into the BIOS and checked that onboard video is disabled? Also, do you have multiple slots you can use on your motherboard to try another one?

there's no option in the bios for some reason, And theres a 1x slot and a x16 slot.

Are you sure there isn't an "Auto" option somewhere that related to the video in the BIOS?

Last time I installed a PCIe GPU card it had to be set to "Auto" to work.
