I miss the keyboard and the phone was fantastic, but Motorola has lost me as a customer by doing what they did with the Milestone.

Why are you typing on a Galaxy S?
It comes with Swype out of box, and the new swype beta is better than ever.
If you're typing with a touch screen phone, I feel for you.

I'm faster with the new Gingerbread keyboard than I ever was with Swype. Plus the text prediction is 1000 times better with the Gingerbread KB.

Honestly that looks no different. I heard there are better cellphones coming out besides this.

It's got a dual core and possible 4G. Plus its thinner and will have better battery life. how is that no different? Plus it has another row for number keys. If only Verizon didn't cost $1,000,000 a month, I'd stick with them.

There is no indicator it will be a LTE device.

It doesn't. Talk 450 39.99 + Unlimited Data 29.99 = $70 per month. Plus if you have an employee discount, it could be cheaper.

Then factor in taxes and fees, I'm sitting at 100.00 per month. I actually have that plan that you're writing about.

There is also nothing saying that it doesn't have 4G, that's why I said possible.

You also have insurance, which adds $7. With my numbers you are at $75ish without texting, after tax. So even if you add your insurance and a texting pack, you are at $92ish, before a employee discount.

Also keep in mind, AT&T plans are about $5 cheaper for smart-phones, however, you get less data. Simple phones however, are the same price across the board.

So relatively, all competitors are charging about the same. For me VZW is the only option I would even consider. I will gladly pay more for more network availability and reliability.
