Turtle Beach X11 buzzing feedback in background.

The headset is plugged in my pc but when everything is quiet I hear this buzzing and it's kind of annoying. Still sounds good when music/games audio is playing. Is there anyway I could fix this? I'm not using any special wires or anything.

It's normal, just electrical interference from the motherboard. Upgrade to a dedicated sound card (something as cheap as this, $19.99 after MIR) and you won't hear it anymore.

Well, for one it goes without saying. However, it's also against their rules (although, my intentions here do not include enforcing that rule).

Although, for me the verbal offer is demotivating. I mean, I think that I'm like most people in that I couldn't care less about getting something in return when helping someone. My motivation comes from the person's need for help, not from the promise of getting a Rep+. I've been this way all of my life.

It's a little bit like going to a restaurant and saying this to your server: "I'll give you a tip if you give me good service". It ruins everything.

So it is with the Rep+: it's not about the Rep+. If I see someone asking a question that I could perhaps provide the best and most definitive answer to, and if they are verbally promising Rep+ to anyone who helps, then it kills my motivation. Plus, it makes me feel like saying, "I am not replying just because you are promising Rep+. I am replying because I genuinely want to help."

Plus, it reminds me of the way we wave food in front of a dog in order to get it to do what we asked it to do.

take them back
even if you get that problem fixed them and the x41 (I use to have x41's)
get a random pop in the audio from time to time that is really a pain

if you can find them onsale logitech makes a set of wireless headphones for the xbox and the ps3 that support full wireless (even chat on both systems) and is rechargeable they are the F540 and onsale they are 109.99 new
http://www.bestbuy.com/site/Logitech+-+Logitech+Wireless+Headset+F540/1239317.p?id=1218240377628&skuId=1239317&st=logitech%20wireless%20headset&cp=1&lp=1

they also make the g930's that are the same thing but PC only when onsale are 119.99
http://www.bestbuy.com/site/Logitech+-+G930+Wireless+Gaming+Headset/1388362.p?id=1218255234461&skuId=1388362&st=logitech%20wireless%20headset&cp=1&lp=3

I have both sets and love them
the F540's will work on the pc for sound but I have not tried them for microphone yet, since I have the g930's on my pc I dont worry about it

I have a faint buzz in my X11's that I use for Xbox 360 and PS3. I barley even notice it anymore.
