choices are narrowed down to :
corsair ax850, coolermaster silent pro gold 1000w, corsair hx1000w
opened to suggestion, kinda want to shoot for gold and my budgets at $180

read that the ax850 doesnt land gold

Very few PSUs actually clear 80 Plus Gold in the real world. Don't worry too much about a few 1/10ths of percents short of actual 80 Plus Gold and just get an excellent PSU. The AX850 is one such unit.
Beside the AX850, look at these:
NZXT Hale90 850W or 1000W
Kingwin LZG-850 or 1000
OCZ ZX 850W or 1000W
Rosewill Lightning 800W or 1000W
Sparkle Gold 850W or 1000W
Antec HCP-850

that nzxt looks very nice in white. what do you think of the silent pro and that its based on fsp, are all of them made from them. my current psu is fsp and i don't know if i should stay with that brand since it couldn't power my gtx 570, Are they made more durable now, jonny guru said that ripple suppression is bad what effect will it have on me in real world performance?

You are breaking ToS by saying that you know that right? You dont have 35rep which is required to be able to sell items on this site.

Corsair HX1000 is an ancient PSU.
You could get Antec HCP-850 850W, NZXT Hale 850W, OCZ ZX 850W, Sparkle Gold Class 850W or Kingwin Lazer Gold 850W.

Yes, the Gold rating just saves you a few cents at the end of the month so I'd go for the Silver. If you don't mind a cheap looking OEM model I'd go with this one. Myself, I do mind the cheap looking OEMs so I spent a extra $20 for this Corsair. These are actually the exact same PSUs since Corsair started using Seasonic again, the only difference is the cheap looks, and the Seasonic has 2x CPU cables for servers as they use these high wattage PSUs. The only complaint for the Corsair from people that run servers and can't use the Corsair if they have 2 CPUs.

Or pay more for some black paint and modular cables and the Gold rating.

Get the XFX BE 850w. The amount you'll save from Silver to Gold efficiency is negligible. If you can't stand the looks of it then the HX850.

The AX850 is only worth it if you want the full modularity and quieter fan.

well after much debate between the 3 with my little bro, i ended up going with the cm gold 1000w since its future proof, quiet, =to the ax850 price, 5 year warranty, fully modular, and will probably hold its value more then the xfx 850 BE (since its always on sell). It might be overkill at the moment but one day it will be the perfect psu. thanks for the input , case closed

SeaSonic M12D or S12D. M is Modular. Has seem amps and wattage on it's dual 12v's as the corsair HX1000!
