Backlit Gaming Keyboard (Mechanical?) - Page 2

Try to pick up a deck off ebay or from forum marketplaces, you might be able to get one at a reasonable price.

Yea I read that the BWU was a 2KRO optimized around the WASD zone, but I still haven't grasped what that meant for me, I mean, I guess it isn't as simple as <ANY KEY>+<ANY KEY> = 2KRO, unless you are telling me Ctrl+Alt+Delete won't work anymore lol.

I don't know if this would affect me.

And I saw the Deck Legend, I dont really like the curvy look of it, and it's damn expensive for just the bare keyboard, and there isn't much on eBay, but even then, how cheap could it go, 100$? =/

2KRO generally refers to 2 alphanumeric keys plus modifiers.

The only really relevant keys that don't register on the BW are the arrow keys (you can only press two) and ZXC doesn't seem to work either. Other that than that for games you would be hard pressed to find a combination that doesn't register.

Well heck, if the Razer Black Widow Ultimate is a good/ok keyboard, then why not. I had just read a few posts saying it was a bad keyboard.

I have the BWU and I have nothing bad to say about it (yet) aside from the funky keycaps printing. What other bad things have you read about it ?

Someone was selling one for $100 in the OCN for sale section.

2KRO means that, in the worst case scenario, there will be keys on the keyboard that will block with 3 presses. I.E Z,X, and UP arrow, then the up arrow doesn't register. I'm not sure what keys block on the widow, you'll have to look it up.

I actually like typing alot on blacks and I have cherry brown now. although you might make more mistakes than on cherry browns its still not bad for typing

you just have to learn to press the key down just till it registers then its great for typing

I was gonna get the Black Widow but due to Razer's subpar build quality I chose a Deck.

Should be here in 2 weeks.
