water cool or not?

Thread Starter
I've been wanting a water cooled rig for a while and I'm thinking of upgrading mine... except that I'm tight on budget so I'm just wondering roughly how much it's gonna cost me.

my current rig:
med tower
i7 920
gtx 285 sli
6GB RAM
3 HDD
750w psu

I'm thinking about overclocking my cpu and gpu after i get water cooling, so aside from the water cooling kit, I will also need a new case (HAF X?) and maybe a better PSU?

for a midrange cooling kit + new case/psu, how much am I looking at roughly?

thanks!

$190 - XSPC Rasa RX360 kit: http://jab-tech.com/XSPC-Rasa-750-RX...t-pr-4780.html

$100 - 2x XSPC Rasa universal gpu blocks

~$25 - extras: tube, fittings, heatsinks for gpu, etc

Total: ~$300-350+

If you want to go full cover blocks for your gpu(s) (depending on which gtx 285 you have) add another $100 ($100 each, total $450-500+).

If you can live with just wc your cpu, there are a few more cheaper Rasa kits (RS240, RX240, & RS360).

Good luck
