Is it recommended to go SMP 7 vs SMP 8 when you have the GPUs running ? I just entered usage of 95 during the config and left it alone.

I also left the -smp as ? as the guide stated. I get approx 17k-20k ppd for my i5 2500k, and 19-21k for my GPU.

I have -smp 7 going on my 2500k @ 4.8 and get around 10-12.5k depending on the WU.

My 460's each get from 10-15k depending on WU but usually hover in the high 12k range.

If you want yourproc for folding get a 2600k and you can get 45-50k doing -bigadv.

As far as I know, PPD hasn't changed with the new Core A5.

How much better is the i7 2600k? Doesn't HT help a lot in folding?

I did not notice any difference in PPD switching to the A5 work units, they seem pretty much the same.

HT makes a significant difference. In my SB PPD database, highest reported 2500k is 30k PPD, although I'm pretty sure others are doing better yet. The best 2600k reported is 53k.
