I'm running -smp 4. My timings are 10-10-10-28. I'm also folding my 460 at the same time but I've only seen the tpf increased from 36min to 37:20 min

are you using your OC a lot while folding?
While folding bigadv through a VM and using the OC may lead to higher TPFs...
If you are lettint the rig alone that is pretty high for a 2500K at 4.7GHz...

With your ram at 1600mhz i think it would be around 30 min, maybe less. Some 2500k users might post exact tpfs

You need to try and tighten your timings. I think mine were 8-8-8 22 1t on my 2500k. Also, try and lower your multi 1 and oc your bclk to 103 or 104

Something seems off... try and delete everything in the folder and redownload the client.

Hum it seems to take a lot of time between each TPF, mine is only taking around 7-8 mins so I guess I don't have an bigadv WU.
I was copy-pasting from the guide yesterday when I setup my VM so I guess I couldn't make any typo . Any idea why I don't get those WU? In the fah6 -configonly, was I supposed to enter "big" at WU size (normal was default)?

Oh and it also cut my non-VM fah GPU-client PPD in half (at around 5k), even if I lowered the vmplayer at the lowest

The TPF is considerably higher for CPU clients compared with a GPU one, it sounds like you've got a time around what you should be expecting for a non-bigadv [CPU] WU.

You could still have made a typo, as if the guide was written with <username> in it, then you would have issues whenever that was used in a command....

Yes, you should have used "big" in the config.

Using the CPU to Fold will take up as many of your CPU cycles as aren't being used elsewhere, your GPU will normally need some CPU cycles to work (don't ask, I don't know how or why it does it...it just does) so your GPU's TPF will increase when you start a CPU client; much the same as if [like me] you only normally Fold on the CPU, if you start the GPU client up, the CPU's TPF will go up....
