Dell Dimension B110 question

Thread Starter
I work on computers from time to time removing viruses and spy-ware and all that good stuff that the typical computer dummy cant fix. I find sometimes I need to reformat and install a clean copy of the OS and now days the person who bought the PC doesn't receive a CD. I have seen some PC's have a extra partition with the OS on it to use. Then sometimes your left in the dark where do you guys find the same OS to install on the PC?

Why not go to Dell's website and take a look at the manual for the computer? It will tell you how to access that partition if it's there. If not, I believe you're allowed to use a retail CD and just input the OEM key. But don't quote me on that.

IIRC, there's a "restore" option in the BIOS settings that will use that backup partition to restore the system factory defaults.
