Windows 7. How to force delete a folder?

Thread Starter
My Wife's laptop came with Trend Micro Anti-Virus. I have disabled it and am using MSE instead. However, it will not let me delete the 'Trend' folder from C/program files. Not even in safe mode. A few years back I had a similar problem and someone on here pointed me to a free program that basically bypasses permissions and will let you delete anything you want.

Any idea what program that is? I remember it had 'wizard' in the name.

Or you could boot into "Safe Mode" and delete the folder.

Edit: I just read you've already tried safe mode. +1 on using Unlocker, I've tried it myself.

Unlocker is the app you're talking about.

But you should never delete folders from program files, always uninstall. Screws up your registry and causes some disk fragmentation.

I'd recommend considering this is not exactly time influenced that if there is no uninstaller for it, get in contact with Trend and they'll provide one.
