Yeah, it's been saying that for TMPIN1 in HWMonitor for over a year, wanted to know if it was possible they were really that hot or if it's an inaccurate sensor. (Was always a dud in previous boards).
As this one starts at 97c upon boot, and hovers between 105-106c, and with the serious worry of my Mobo's MOSFET's, I thought it best to seek advice as I was getting more and more worried considering they were they hot.
Was also seeking alternate/superior cooling advice, as regardless of sensor accuracy, I want them to be as cool as possible.
I'm gonna get a temperature sensor of some sort and check it though.
I'll also re-lock the cores and see if that makes a difference.
It could be wrong, it could be right. I'd rather not take the risk and do nothing about it though. So I'm gonna get some clarification.
If my MOSFET's were indeed that hot, would I be wrong in thinking it would drive my CPU temp up considerably, being so close to it?
The more time's gone by since I PM'd xd with a large brick about to exit my body, the more I'm doubting it, my board's too cool, and they won't shoot down from that high within 5mins to touch cool would they?
I'd rather over worry for nothing, than not worry for something so serious.
I'm also considering the possibility, that should relocking the cores drop the reading in HWMonitor considerably, that unlocking may mess up that sensor?
I'll only know when I check the actual temps, instead of the software reading.
