nVidia Control Panel missing

Thread Starter
I just installed a 560Ti, Clean Intall on Drivers (266.66) and when I right click my desktop there is no nvidia control panel option. When I go to Start>Control Panel> Nvidia Control Panel nothing happens. If I navigate to C:\NVIDIA\DisplayDriver\266.66\Vista 64-bit\English\DisplayControlPanel, there are not exe's either. If I navigate to C:\Program Files\NVIDIA Corporation\Control Panel Client and double click the nvcplui.exe nothing happens.

Any input?

I would recommend reinstalling the drivers.. if that doesn't work try an older set.

Solved.

Uninstalled All NV Drivers.
Rebooted.

Ran CCleaner Registry Tool and removed some entries.
Rebooted.

RE-installed NV Drivers.
Rebooted.

I was afraid it wouldn't work, though, as I noticed that Windows was trying to install VGA drivers at the same time that I was; however, it worked out fine.

I would like to point out that I had already tried this method, without the CCLeaner part, before I made my post. However, I think that there was a conflict between the MS VGA Drivers and the NV Drivers that time.

At any rate, it works now.

You're right, I should. To that end, I edited my brief post to include the steps I took.

Thank you
