My sprint EVO on 3G Beats 4G devices by ATT, epic fail. The AT&T reps told me to leave when I wanted to run internet speed tests on my phone and their display Iphones in front of customers.
How much data do you use on a month 2 month basis?

The greatest phone ever made and I can't use it... I hope they do not approve this deal. I'm pissed. =)
Come on people.. really.. How long do you plan on keeping your phone? Most people cant wait to upgrade once their contract allows it.. Not to many people i know like to keep their phones that long..

Besides, by the time this deal hopefully finalizes you should be able to get a new phone at discounted pricing..

I use right around 2GB a month, sometimes higher if I'm traveling a lot and needing access to work. I also don't care to pay a damn penny, so unless the upgrade is 100% FREE, I will not give a rats ass, I'm switching. Its the fact that they're forcing money out of us!!! I want whatever phone I choose to have, because right now, I have T-Mobile's top of the line phone.

How often do you get "upgrades" for free? A descent upgrade for pretty much any phone will cost you something... Nothing is free

Can you show us a screenshot of your speed tests on your EVO on 3G? Id really like to see sprints 3g be faster than AT&Ts 3G.. Now thats a joke.. Now, unless you live near a 4G area then you will not see good speeds on your EVO..

This is my HTC Inspire inside my house.. upload speeds not good but the download speeds are pretty good.. faster download speeds than my wifes iphone 4

It was the first 4.3" 1ghz 16gb phone out. I have WP7 and Android running on a dual boot at 1.5ghz... It can run Android, WM6.5, Meego, Linux and WP7. IMO there isn't a phone to upgrade to. The HD2 is amazing.

The HD2 is an amazing device. I personally have one, running tytung's gingerbread build.

Also a lot of people prefer not to upgrade. If you upgrade now, you are forced to also "upgrade" your data/voice plan which is usually a few dollars more than what you already have. I pay 20.00 for each of our lines and thats unlimited 3G data. If I upgrade my line, I'll be forced to get another plan that costs a lot more than what I have. If upgrading means paying more for what you already get, then I'd rather pass.

So glad me and the wife went with Sprint. We we're considering Tmo, but the offer we got from sprint was too good to pass up, since she works as a manager at walmart we got 20% off our monthly bill plus 2 free LG optimus S' (after MIR) and 125$ for each line we switched over from our old carrier for getting an android phone we ate the 180$ for the ETF from AT&T.

We now pay about 120$ (with tax) 103$ without, for unlimited everything and 1500 minutes of talk time.
It was sad the AT&t guy we spoke too when we went to get our acct number and cancel our service was grabbing at straws trying to get us to stay... They were going to give us 2 whole gigs of data a month and kept saying how wifi was everywhere and you can just use your wifi at home for the net... sorry if im at home WHY would i need to use my phone to browse the net again? They also wanted about 150$ a month for it as well (with tax) And considering that i didnt even have service in the store shows some real quality..

Sorry for that, had to rant... I feel really bad for the people on Tmo that now have to pay for a new phone. You would think that they would maybe do some sorta deal with customers like a one year contract and a phone for half price or something.. this is really low, even for them.
