Biggest Fail, never noticed it for an entire year.

Hey Guys,

Well for about a year now I have had my AMD system. I absolutely love it. It's fast, I love the 3.7GHz of speed. One thing I did not notice until now is my ram timings.
My timings:
http://valid.canardpc.com/show_oc.php?id=991118
Factory Timings:
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16820227346

This CPU-Z link shows my ram at 562.7MHz @ 8-8-8-16.

Well, I just looked at my RAM and it says it runs at 1033MHz @ 7-7-7-16. If I increase the DRAM speed and lower timings, will it seem a little faster?

I really feel like an idiot because I was so into overclocking my CPU but I really didn't think about my ram. I have a feeling that I am under utilizing it.

Firstly, not really epic fail, You are useing DDR which is double data so your 562 is in effect 1124Mhz.

The timings are Ok, 8-8-8-16 is not crap just maybe a little loose.

So no Epic, if the computer catches fire thats Epic, but just a hazard of being an Over Clocker.

Will tightening timings to factory 7-7-7-16 improve speed?

2 Things:

1. No, I was using Windows 7, which has DX11. My old 4870 X2 is DX10.
2. I no longer have my 4870 X2 because it fried.
