Outside that, FF Teatrythm is very good, DOA Dimensions provides some nice arcade beat'em up experiences, RE: Revelations is a very good survival horror (although circle pad pro is recommended due to the inability of Capcom to code decent aiming controls with the 4 buttons).

I agree that Final Fantasy TheatRhythm is very good. I've been playing it like crazy this past week since I got it, definitely my new favorite game on the 3DS. thumb.gif

Ugh, this is where I am stuck. I haven't played my 3DS much since I got it, but am taking a little weekend trip soon and wanted to pick up a new game. At first it was Kid Icarus, hands down, but then I saw FF:T. For me, I think I will get more enjoyment/playtime out of Kid Icarus, but the nostalgic factor that the FF game could bring is hard to pass up.

Which one does everyone suggest? I know you can't compare the games so it will come down to personal preference, but for those that have played both, if you could only get one (for now), which would it be?

What games do you already have, and do you have any preferred genres?

I would actually recommend against getting Kid Icarus if you're looking to play it on a trip, as it pretty much requires the stand to play properly. Holding it up with your hand is awkward and tiring.

But TheatRhythm plays well on the go. I would recommend it 100% to anyone who is a fan of Final Fantasy, especially if they enjoy the music, something which I consider a very important aspect of the series. smile.gif

Tomorrow I'll have my copy of Rhythm Thief & the Emperor's Treasure and I can let you know my initial impressions if you'd like.

I'd definitely appreciate the input once you get it. I already have zelda, mario kart, and super mario. I don't have a preferred genre, I was just thinking that Kid Icarus looked a little more in depth, and the other leading factor was that it had multiplayer, but I see your point pertaining to on the go playing. From the few reviews I read, the biggest downfall of the game that I saw was the controls.

I'll look a bit more into Final Fantasy, just might have to give it a go.

Thanks
