How have your scores been? Seems the best I can manage is 8.3 for my 2500k. I added screenie. My temps were sky high as my fans were off lol....I just ran at 53x100 plus upped bclk for 5388. Plugged in 1.55 in bios as I know it would boot in no problem. I was hoping for sub 9's

Yea no ht. I've seen a lot of the 2600k's breaking into the 9's but no 10 or >. Does Cinebench make use of faster ram? I auto'd mine to 1333 to make sure I got into windows, but I'm semi confindent I can do 1866 but I didn't want to deal with a bios reflash. For some reason, when I oc too far beyond, it'll gimme the chksum error which is a pain.....

Where the 2600 boys at? Unfortunately, I think the 2600K can only do about 9.00 in CB.

Unfortunately, it does.
http://www.anandtech.com/bench/Product/288?vs=157

Considering we're talking about $225 vs $600.

Plus, it all boils down to what your uses are, most people get the 2500K for gaming purposes, and in that case just look at the World of Warcraft scores, it's 20FPS difference. Everything else they trade blows. Plus the 2500K doesn't even have HT, yet it's holding its own.

Look at my sig rig, I'm not an SB user, but I can't deny the fact that it's a great chip for the price.

I'm waiting for Ivy Bridge personally.
