yup, if your not good at soldering you can use any ground you want though. I usually use an isolated negative lead of a cap.

How dows your VR look like?

Put the ground wire to the middle leg of the VR and the feedback wire to the left or right one. You can measure the resistance of your VR this way to see which one is the right one. One will have 50k Ohms resistance(-> use this one for fb wire) ant the other one 0 Ohms.

looking from this point of view:

ground -> middle pin
feedback -> left pin

you can snap off the right one. if you spin it clockwise resistance will be lowerd / voltage raised.

mmk, how do i measure the restiance between the to?

when i try put the negitiave from DMM to middle pin.
and positive to left pin it doesnt say anything sometimes flashes a number lol o.O ?
what am i doing wrong lol

doing the same thing i got the restiance from the ic..

what settings are on your dmm, if there is a kohm setting use that. Will be more accurate when setting for your ic measurement was just ohm. If its not that then make sure your vr is tuned somewhere in the middle and make sure the center of your probe is on the leg.

i put it on 200k, instead of 20k ( not sure why i didnt b4. )

so i turn it so it reads as 50k? or 0?

when i first turn it on for the same voltage i leave it at 50k ? right?

and when ocing i turn off the card ( well comp ) before changing the volts or?
