hey guys,
I'm putting together a budget gaming build for a friend of mine, and, as I'm sure u all know, that is next to impossible to do with Intel. unfortunately this is where i encountered a problem. other than the fact that they are Intel's competitor, i know nothing about AMD. I'm looking for a processor and motherboard recommendation. it will probably be a single card set up. currently the most intensive game he plays is boarder lands, and he will probably get Guild Wars 2 when it comes out. the entire build needs to be $500 or less. i can handle the rest of the build by my self, but any recommendation for a part or a whole set up is still greatly appreciated.
thank you in advance.
EDIT: i don't need an HDD or a CD/DVD drive

. Even without the undervolting, the likelihood is OP would never have any problems if he didn't try to get 3.6+ GHz.
