Gigabyte ga-p67a-ud4-b3 case help

So I purchased the following system;

Motherboard: GA-P67A-UD4-B3
CPU: CPU INTEL CORE I7 2600K
Memory: MEM 4Gx2|GSKILL F3-12800CL7D-8GBRH
CPU Cooler: COOLER MASTER Hyper N 520
Graphics Card: BFG 295 GTX

My main problem is I used to run my last system on an Area 51 case which supported LGA775 motherboards. Without doing my homework properly I was left to see that the P67s need a completely new case. My problem was that I built this rig specifically to recycle some of my components such as hard disks, case, PSU and graphics card. Would I be able to use the 1 KILOWATT OEM ATX PS on another case that also suits the P67 mobo or do I need a completely new one as well. The dimensions for it are 4 x 8.5 x 6-inches (H x W x D, approximate). It's the one in the photo below.

First,
If that's an EPS12V power supply with an 8 pin eps12v cpu power connector, and a 20 pin (or 20+4 pin with the 4 pin detatchable from the 20 pin) ATX connector, then you're good to go.

Second, why do you need a new case?
A socket 1155 board has the same dimensions as a socket 775 board, as long as you aren't buying an XL-ATX board like a Rampage IV Extreme or a Gigabyte Assassin (this one is socket 1366, anyway). Heck, even the mounting holes are identical. I used the exact same mounting holes on my 775 board as I do on my 1355 board, in the same case.

There is absolutely no reason in the world why you would need a new case, UNLESS the case were BTX or micro ATX. If the case were standard ATX or even E-Atx, it would be fine. The mounting holes are the same.

I've had the EVGA nForce 680i SLI before this board. I'm guessing that was a standard ATX board but I'm not sure. I've tried flipping that thing on all sides and I just can't get the holes to match.

Excellent You saved some cash there.

It can be very tricky and a big pain in the butt, to get the case standoffs aligned properly with the motherboard, while trying to get the board slots into the I/O shield. That's probably the second most annoying thing with building a computer, besides getting those annoying case LED/power/reset jumpers aligned properly without them falling off, and putting heatsink/thermal compound on the CPU.

Thankfully, your case didn't have a 'hardwired" I/O shield. I've seen some proprietary cases come with sheet metal i/O shields, that seemed like they would be impossible to remove ...

BTW, one thing that REALLY Throws off some new builders (people who have never assembled a computer before) is when they think that the PCIE/PCI slot are supposed to line up perfectly with the slots in the back. The brackets for cards are always to the side of the card itself, and thus it's the brackets that line up. But on a very first build, it can seem worrying.
