when do you have too many fans how many do you have? - Page 2

I find that not having my 120mm bottom intake fan and my 140mm front intake fan still nets me the same temps, with or without them(so they are pretty much useless and are only there for looks)

1 bottom intake, 6 push/pull on rad, 2 in tandem for exhaust

800d is intake challenged imo

Thought this was another thread like "Your case has too much airflow when..."

If it was, I'd say this: When you have to buy a Lanboy Air just to mount all of them.

I have 14 fans total in my HAF X (granted there are not slots for 14 fans on a HAF X but I made them fit lol) I have positive pressure (by a few hundred CFM) but my next feat to tackle is to try and seal up some of the cracks and crevices in my case so that the air is only coming in and going out exactly where I want it to.

I've got (4) 120's and (3) 140's, if you count psu another 140 and whatever a 570 runs with.

One of the Case Labs M10's I have here for the Community folding project will have 18 fans in it. 4 blowing directly over the GPUs, 2 in push / pull across an H70, 8 on the top and 6 in the front.
Very true. you cannot have to many fans. Its just like GPU's you can never have to many. I think i have 8-10 fans just of the top of my head, will have to count. does not include GPU or PSU fan. so +2 fans if you counting the GPU and PSU.
