Need a P67 for my new gaming rig

Hello,

I'm building a system and i'm looking for a p67 motherboard that is big enough to hold 2 GTX580's and a dedicated audio card. Was considering the maximus iv, but it's always out of stock and will probably be for a long while.

I've noticed a lot of the p67 in the lower price range don't have room or an extra slot for a dedicated audio card. This one looks like it can take on the task though.

Any ideas or suggestions appreciated. Would like to keep the cost low as possible. Also should mention I plan on OC'ing.

Really no point going for a maximus, the p8p67 pro or deluxe will both do what you need. Maximus has very few actually useful features as far as I can tell.

ocing on sandy bridge Is pretty easy and you really don't need to buy a super high end board to get a decent oc, you can easily get upto 5ghz (assuming your chip will take it not all will) on even the lowest board that has your 3 pcie slots

Thanks for the heads up on the pro. It just looked to be a bit of a tight fit for card. I haven't seen a 580 in person but I know they are massive.

massive as in long mate they are still only a double slot card. the problem will not be your sound card but might be things like your hard drives
