yeh played that, incredible game, there's something about its atmosphere and overall game design that really appealed to me. I also found whilst playing it, it somehow lifted my overall mood, possibly due to its bright vibrant colours etc

If you played Crysis then, you didn't miss much. Most games releasing are all hype with little substance. Crysis 2 is fun and interesting but the game play is so different from its predecessors that it doesn't even feel right. Imagine playing Halo 1 with the Armor from Halo 2, then when Halo 2 released your armor was upgraded to the Halo 1 armor.
Nanosuite 2.0 should have been Nanosuite pre-release alpha.
Homefront looks really fresh and played really fresh until the game just ends on you. The game feels rushed, story wise. I think the way things are FPS games are at their peek, Games have to include great stories not just multi player. I think that FPS have returned to their beginnings of just mindless killing of sprites. I for one want some drama, some suspense, some real baby momma drama! I think there should be a fusion between Mirrors Edge and GTA. I think games like mirrors edge will make the First Person format relevant for years to come.
You know what would be cool, an affordable FPS that was episodic with a strong story and good game play.

Heres an idea. A jackrabbit and a Penguin have to save cyber space from evil hipsters. LOL

Bulletstorm (it's from my country People Can Fly) but I didn't like it
BFBC2 - I really like this one, I think it's better than cra ppy Call of Duty
Crysis 2 - canceled my pre-order because it's a console port, but I'm thinking of getting it now
Left 4 Dead 2? I really like 1st and 2nd L4D, for me multi and single rocks
Metro 2033 - I really like this game
Aliens vs Predator 3 - You don't have to like it, but I'm a fanboy of Alien

Can't believe no one mentioned Mass Effect 1 or 2 those are a must play if you are into single player. I am looking foward to Duke Nukem to hold me over till ME3 hits later this year.
