Where is Jolicloud control panel - Page 2

I used an walker version of joli but I disliked it so much I removed it after less than a day. Sorry I couldn't be more helpful but there are much better Linux distros.

I didn't say the community here is bad, otherwise I wouldn't visit this site daily.

@transhour

Thanks for the response. The only documentation that I came across wasn't for 1.2, so not everything lined up. I haven't been able to try the command just yet, I am still experimenting with other operating systems for my netbook. I would like to stay on something based off linux, but haven't been able to find the version that runs best on the hp mini. So far I've liked mint the best.

Tell me what CPU/GPU you have on that thing. MeeGo is really good for doing "work" on a netbook. It just likes Atoms only right now. You might look into LXDE spins of openSUSE, Fedora, and Lubuntu.

Intel GMA 3150

I tried to install meego a while back but had problems and never actually got to play around with it. Right now I have ubuntu nbr and hate it. That side bar messes up pretty much every web page I go to.

opensuse may be the next one I try. Does it have decent documentation? With ubuntu I can't really find much up to date information.

What exactly were you problems with it? My first one was that I had to remember to leave the WIFI on before the OS starts otherwise no WIFI.

What version of UNR? I thought that 10.10 didn't use Unity. If you can you should look for UNR10.04 sine it doesn't have god awful Unity.

openSUSE worked fine but I haven't tried 11.4 after the first few weeks. It's one distro I recommend getting the DVD Full version because it has just about everything and you can pick from that what you want.

I'm looking for Fedora to either grab a LXDE version or maybe they'll finally release their MeeGo styled version in this summer.

Oh god I used bad grammar. I know the LXDE version exists. I was talking about the MeeGo spin they're supposedly making.

IIRC I was unable to use right click. That is a deal breaker for me. Almost every os i've put on the mini has needed some mouse command to make my touchpad recognize right click and two fingered scrolling. I downloaded crunch bang but haven't installed it yet.

Edit: And is unity that god awful sidebar menu? That IMO is the worst idea to put on a netbook, which already has a small screen.
