These are all core based, so obviously with the extra 2-4 cores it will be king. for example, its getting 1.275b for Cinebench per core, whereas the i7 2600k is getting 1.675b per core. HT probably is a big factor in Cinebench tho, so would love to see i5 2500k in that review.

Hmm. Well, its an interesting hint as to what is going on with Bulldozer ... we can only hope its genuine, but, as pointed out above, the Cinebench performance isn't a surprise, its got twice the real cores of a 2600K, assuming those figures are from an 8-core... Its AMD's lack of per-core power that is irking me right now. Still, the cash is in the pot for whatever is king in a few months time
