This case is very poor for NZXT. The top cover (magnetic) is tacky and the overall build quality is not what I would expect considering how good the phantom was. The air intake from the front is non-existent and yeah I won't go on. I don't know why they bothered with this.

You're missing the whole point of this system. It's supposed to be quiet; and not overtly flashy. With a class an elegance look to it.

Your opinion is dervied from a misunderstanding of the the purpose of the case.

Would you please explain specifically how NZXT missed the aim of a relatively-low priced silent case?

How is the top cover tacky? If you believe it is tacky, take it off.
The Phantom costs 50% more... it is a different pricing bracket and a different market.
Front air intake on all silent cases is low so your point is moot.

Go on, please.

I think most people are hating on this case simply because its from NZXT. If this was released from Fractal, Lian-Li or Corsair I think the comments would have been much different.

I've got to agree that Tom Logan's review on that case was pretty appalling... He sure has a lot to nitpick about for a $100 case. Seems like he was bashing it "just because".

Also Linus > Tom

What point did they miss?
Their objectives were:
Minimalist Design (did that)
Silent Tower (Did that)
Cheap ($100 is pretty cheap for a silent case like this)

What am I missing at this point? For that matter... you have a lot of opinions for someone who has not handled the case in person.

This is possibly one of the nicest looking cases i have ever scene, anyone know what the UK priving is for this?

EDIT: i just noticed the pricing is on the review and its cheap,
Think you could mod this case to accomodate a water cooler?

What a retard. The only complaints worth a spit that he brought up was the *look* of the SATA power and what not... which can be remedied with this.. though the case isn't windowed.. no it doesn't really matter for airflow reasons.. but whatever.

As for the large video card issue... you are an idiot, repeat, idiot, if you put a $600 card in a case you haven't looked at before. For those interested in the H2, they will check to see if their card fits....derp.

For a $100 case, the H2 kicks ass. My only issue.. well not even issue, just wish, was that some of the HDD bays be removable... like the top bays of the FT01... but then again, I've been spoiled with this FT01's features, and it's almost 2x the cost of the H2

Tom used to be pretty interesting, as in a year ago.. he wasn't such a cocky low life. Now since he getz fr33 st00f brah, he's awesome? I think not. You [Tom] just made OC3D look like a joke of a review site. Cant operate a tool-less bracket.. yet you have years of experience, which you talk about for 3+ minutes? Please just ****. There's no other way of saying it, ****.

I'll stick with real review sites... and Linus's Tech Tips [yep, I think he's awesome... he always has the good stuff early, goes in depth, and has real experience :x] for case overviews / reviews.
I completely agree with all that's said. I personally don't understand how he ends up receiving all the latest hardware when there are MUCH better sites out there that will do a significantly superior job. I'm glad others share my opinion.

Linus is in a league above Tom, he knows what he is talking about and delivers his views very professionally. <3 Linus.
