The elitist snob/self labeled enthusiast that has plagued these forums, that simply does not have validity just because you can build a computer.Although, one can certainly say the UI graphic settings/DX11 shouldn't be overlooked, it doesn't lend to the endless rants/negativity upon threads which last innumerable pages.

The bottom line is, you as a consumer have a false pretense of power, as to negotiate what is published versus what is actually completed. The developers have all will and resources to see their ideas come into fruition.

STOP COMPLAINING.

Paying costumers expect something for their money, if it isn't there they wont buy it.

Also, who cares if people complain about the game. Why not, they get out their frustrations with something, and often times a conversation of what could be done is struck up.

As to the bolded part, go find a different forum if you can't handle differing opinions.

I don't care what you guys want to label that behavior as (elitist, a sense of entitlement, whatever...), it is disgusting, and PC "gamers" like that can fall of the Earth as far as I'm concerned.

If a game is fun, and isn't screwing me over with some terribly restrictive DRM, and is a reasonable price I'll buy it. DX version should be almost inconsequential in a decision on whether or not to buy a game, unless the actual required DX version is higher than your card supports. Sure, it's nice when a game is gorgeous and using your hardware to its fullest, but if a game is fun, does it really matter one way or another?

Reminds me of the people that refuse to even try Minecraft (for FREE!) because of the graphics. How is it any different that people refuse to try Crysis because of DX version?

This is pretty much the only level headed argument I've heard about Crysis 2 in a while. +1 for you.

I expect to be getting the extras because I payed more for them. I payed for my computer to get the eye candy, the higher resolutions, etc.

I didn't spend 1200+ just to get console crap.

Well graphics look good but 2 things, I see he doesn't go back to the island (I thought/was hoping he did???) and 2 if the bugs include some enemies that can't be killed, how do we finish the game, as part of the advancement to the next level requires killing ALL enemies in that level first???
