What would we be without company roadmaps? Thanks to Fujitsu we now have the first confirmed customer roadmap featuring Intel’s upcoming Patsburg chipset for its LGA-2011 processors and that it’s destined for a Q4 launch this year, if anyone had any doubts about it. On the roadmap it’s listed as “Romley†which is Intel’s codename for several of its upcoming processors for the LGA-2011 and LGA-1356 platforms.

Holy crap, already? I'm still on Kentsfield. Good ol' 65nm.

*cries because I need to upgrade and haven't touched my hardware since March 2010*

Contrary to what you think, your x3440 does not have 8 cores.

Just felt I should point that out. Carry on.
