Thanks I did not realize it was so common. If this is possible with a sandy bridge system I'll be upgrading =).

Awesome. Thinking about giving a mini-itx sandy bridge build a go... but I want to keep all of my monitors.

Right... I use my main monitor for gaming/whatever I am doing at the time. The others are just for extra space. I have one large screen and then two smaller ones. After giving it a shot a year or so ago I've become dependent upon multiple screens lol.

That might be a deal breaker. I mainly use the extra screens for web and graphics work.

I'd recommend asking someone who owns a SB setup to try and run multiple monitors on the two different video drivers. I'm sure there's someone here helpful enough to give you a hand, and that hardware spec can't be rare on this site.

I don't exactly think the Micro ATX Integrated card is a better idea than using the usb cards. The integrated is going to use your system memory. I would rather keep all my memory free from integrated video and use usb video.

Had one and did. That is not a problem.

EDIT: I ran 4 displays. 3 LCD monitors and 1 LCD TV hooked into mini HDMI. I had to turn SLI off to do it, but I was able too. I just wanted to test it out. As a matter of fact, I ran adobe illustrator multiple times with this setup and ran it with 2 monitors, 1 TV HDMI, and SLI enabled. I did not have any problems. 460 SE SLI

One more edit... Drivers were the same and so were the cards. Sorry, I sold my sandy bridge, otherwise I would stick my 4670 and the 460 in to see.

You can run 3 displays, multiple video cards, and multiple drivers. You do not need eyefinity, although this might be a better solution than taking up and extra PCI port with a 2nd video card.

However, if that is all your going to do on those monitors then a simple usb video card or even 2 would work great and you could still SLI or Crossfire easily.
I want to build an itx system and all that is available right now is H67. I am planning on getting a Z68 board when they come out in an itx flavor, but considering how long a P67 version is taking I don't think I want to wait.

I know that you can run SLI (out of the question on itx) or Eyefinity and use multiple monitors. That is how I do it currently. I just want to put the integrated graphics to work if it is possible so I don't feel like I am wasting my money on something I am not going to use.

How else would Ati people be able to use Phsyx?

Damn you had my hopes up with your first post then added fine print with the edits haha.

So would anyone who has an H67 board and Windows 7 mind testing this out by running a monitor off of the sandy bridge integrated graphics at the same time as another monitor off of a discrete video card and post back with results?

Micro Center and many others have P67 Revision B3 available. I took my recalled P8P67 Pro back today and got a full refund, but they had several P67 Rev. B3 boards in stock.

I doubt you will find many people in an overclocking forum who select a board that does not overclock! Hopefully, there is one though and you can get your answer.
