Model M keyboard at Build-a-bear?!

Thread Starter
Two days ago I went to build-a-bear with my girlfriend (Don't judge). Anyway, you have to register the bear and stuff, as I was looking at the station to do that I see this big clunky keyboard sitting infront of each of the stations. My first thought was "Is that a model m?.... No, it can't be". So I walked up to it and to my suprise it was! It had the 3 green lights above the number pad, and the kinda dip down style the model m has... If you ever seen one before you will know what I'm talking about. Anyway, long story short, I've been searching goodwill for awhile waiting for one and build-a-bear has about 10 of them with all sorts of cartoony lettering all over them

I've seen rebranded Unicomps at Christmas Tree Shops, Cherry G80s or G81s with likely double shot keys at the children's museum, WYSE keyboards with MX blacks at the local electronics store, etc. You see mechanical keyboards a lot in use at stores for point of sales and what not.

However, there's a lot of Model M lookalikes, notably Keytronics.

Relability and ruggedness is needed.
Once again...

Definitely not a Model M. Looks very close, but not the real deal - stuff like the border (too thin at the sides) and the keycaps (wrong shape, wrong colour, not printed in the way IBM/Lexmark/Unicomp prints keys, the use of the large enter key) give it away. I think it's some sort of Keytronic rubber dome keyboard.

Is that your girlfriend in the picture? She looks a bit young.

If you're really both 15 that's pretty impressive. I broke up with my girlfriend when I was 15 because Xbox 360's came out and I wanted more time for myself.
